TRANSGENDER TUESDAYS the Movie

The film Transgender Tuesdays premiered in June of 2012 at the Castro Theatre as part of Frameline film festival, two years before Time Magazine proclaimed “The Transgender Tipping Point.” The entire floor of the theater was filled with people cheering the several dozen people on stage that day, the “stars” and crew who made the film, most of them trans themselves.

As a full half of states in the US are dangerously trying to “tip back” progress on trans rights and healthcare now, this award-winning documentary is important all over again.

If you like the movie, donations can be made to two organizations who helped in it being told,  and do important ongoing work: El/La Para Translatinas and Ms. Major’s TGI Justice Project
